The San Antonio Spurs look to complete the season series sweep against the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight.
The Minnesota Timberwolves have lost 10 of their last 13 and are now looking to avoid a fourth straight loss after falling to the Thunder by 113-99 on Wednesday. Gorgui Dieng led the team with 21 points and 14 rebounds, Andrew Wiggins added 19 points while Justin Hamilton added 17 points but like the rest of the league, the Wolves couldn't find a way to slow down the Thunder's Russell Westbrook who tallied up yet another triple double. To add insult to injury, Ricky Rubio left the game with an ankle injury in the third quarter and did not return, leaving him questionable for tonight's game along with Nikola Pekovic and Kevin Garnett.

Meanwhile, the San Antonio Spurs have been playing some of their best basketball of the season, but they'll be looking to bounce back after having their six-game win streak snapped by the Cavaliers in a thrilling 128-125 overtime loss on Thursday. Tony Parker led the team with 31 points, Danny Green and Kawhi Leonard added 24 points each while Tim Duncan fell two assists shy of a triple double with 18 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists, but the Spurs fell victim to a career-high 57 points from Kyrie Irving. As a team, the Spurs shot 56.3 percent from the field and have absolutely been killing it offensively lately, but this was just a case of whoever scores last wins, because neither team could miss.
In ATS trends, the Wolves are 5-1 ATS in their last six games following a loss of more than 10 points and 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall, while the Spurs are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games overall and 1-5-1 ATS in their last seven games following a loss.
Head to head, the Wolves are 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings overall and the over is 5-2 in the last seven meetings.
The Spurs have been absolutely red hot lately and are coming off a tough loss, so I'm expecting nothing but a comfortable win for them tonight against a Wolves team they've already routed three times this season.
