The Oklahoma City Thunder check into the American Airlines Center to battle the Dallas Mavericks tonight.
The Oklahoma City Thunder have won five of their last seven and continued their playoff push with a 109-100 win over the Bulls yesterday afternoon. Russell Westbrook once again dominated for the Thunder, pouring in 36 points on 12 of 27 shooting with 11 rebounds and six assists while Enes Kanter added 18 points and 18 rebounds. The game was actually tightly contested all the way, but the difference was that the Thunder had an obvious go-to player to depend on while the Bulls were without Derrick Rose and Jimmy Butler. Serge Ibaka missed his second straight game for the Thunder due to knee soreness and remains day-to-day. Oklahoma City is now one game clear of the ninth-placed New Orleans for the last spot in the Western Conference.

Meanwhile, the Dallas Mavericks have lost five of their last eight overall but will still be full of confidence after making light work of the Clippers in a 129-99 rout on Friday. Chandler Parsons led the way with 22 points, Charlie Villanueva added 19 points while four more players finished in double figures as the Mavs simply ran a tired-looking Clippers team off the floor. None of the Mavs starters played more than 28 minutes as they shot a ridiculous 60.7 percent from the field and 16 of 28 from the three-point line to finish with their highest point total after four quarters this season. With the win, the Mavs drew level with the Clippers at 42-25 on the season, leaving them at seventh place in the Western standings.
In ATS trends, the Thunder are 6-2 ATS in their last eight games playing on zero days rest and 11-5 ATS in their last 16 games overall, while the Mavs are 5-2-1 ATS in their last eight home games but just 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall.
Head to head, the Thunder are 12-5-1 ATS in the last 18 meetings in Dallas but the home team is 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings overall.
The Thunder are clearly the team in better form, but I just get the feeling the Mavs will be bouyed from their last win and I'm expecting them to keep their momentum going with a win over the Thunder in this one.
