The Denver Nuggets invade the FedExForum on Monday night to battle the Memphis Grizzlies.
The Memphis Grizzlies have lost three of their last five but will be feeling good about snapping a two-game skid with a solid 96-83 win over the Bucks on Saturday. In a balanced scoring effort, all five starters finished in double digits with Courtney Lee leading the way with 17 points and Zach Randolph adding 15 points. Defensively, the Grizzlies have held their last five opponents to 92 points or less and they looked especially good against the Bucks, holding them to just 41.7 percent shooting and just 83 points. With the win, Memphis improves to 46-20 which keeps them 1 1/2 games clear of third-placed Portland in the Western Conferene.

Towards the bottom of the Western standings sit the Denver Nuggets who have found a bit of form to win their last three games including a 114-103 win over the Warriors on Friday. Kenneth Faried led the way with 24 points and 17 rebounds while Danilo Gallinari added 24 points. Randy Goe chipped in with 20 points and Jameer Nelson had 17 points as the Nuggets turned it on late to run away with the win over a Warriors team resting four key players in Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Andrew Bogut and Andre Iguodala. The Nuggets really had little to gain from this win, but when you're just 25-41 on the season and 16-19 at home, every win is a good one.
In ATS trends, the Nuggets are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games overall and 4-1 ATS in their last five road games, while the Grizzlies are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games overall and 0-8 ATS in their last eight games against a team with a losing record.
Head to head, the home team is 7-2 ATS in the last nine meetings overall and the Under is 4-1 in the last five meetings in Memphis.
The Grizzlies have opened as nearly double digit favorites against the Nuggets at home and that looks just about right as they should be more than good enough to win and cover the spread at home.
