The Charlotte Hornets travel to Salt Lake City to take on the Utah Jazz on Monday night.
The Charlotte Hornets have won six of their last eight and will be feeling good about snapping a two-game skid on Friday when they beat the Bulls by 101-91. Gerald Henderson led seven players in double figures with 20 points while Mo Williams added 18 as the Hornets stormed back from an early 18-point deficit to earn the unlikely win. In the first half, the Hornets could do little to stop the Bulls who sunk 11 of 14 three points, but they were able to dominate the second half by 49-31 thanks to a dominant effort on the boards where they earned a 55-36 rebounding advantage. With the win, Charlotte improved to 29-35 which keeps them right in the playoff race, just half a game behind the seventh-placed Indiana.

Meanwhile, the Utah Jazz have been one of the hottest teams since the All-Star break, winning 10 of 12 games since Feb. 20 and their last five straight after taking down the Pistons by 88-85 on Saturday. After pouring in 29 points in Thursday's win over Houston, Gordon Hayward had just 12 points on four of eight shooting but Derrick Favors picked up the slack with a game-high 26 points while Rudy Gobert dominated the paint with 10 points and 19 rebounds. Utah were such an easy team to beat earlier in the season, but they look to really be hitting their straps lately which is why they're now 29-36 on the season 16-16 at home where they've won eight of their last nine.
In ATS trends, the Hornets are 4-1 ATS in their last five road games but 0-4 ATS in their last four against the Western Conference, while the Jazz are 7-3-2 ATS in their last 12 games following a win and 9-4-2 ATS in their last 15 games overall.
Head to head, the Hornets are 2-7-2 ATS in the last 11 meetings overall and just 0-6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings in Utah.
The Hornets have been in decent form and are coming off an impressive comeback win so a minor upset may be on the cards tonight. However, the Jazz have been playing their best basketball lately and should be good enough to get the win and cover at home.
