We’re coming off an active evening in the NBA, but there are just four games on the schedule for tonight. Still, we should be seeing some pretty good basketball out there, so with that said let’s check out our daily headlines and see what everyone’s up to.
Cavs-Nets: The Cavaliers looked pretty ugly at the start of this game, but were able to turn things around and eventually steamroll the Nets in Cleveland 117-92. J.R. Smith and Timofey Mozgov put up 17 points, LeBron James had 16, and Kyrie Irving posted 10 assists.
The Cavs have a 25-6 record since January 15, making them one of the favorites to emerge from the East.

Sixers-Pistons: The Sixers came into this one on a four-game losing streak, but were able to muscle past Detroit 94-83 in Philly last night.
Ish Smith put up 15 points for the 76ers, who have won three of six. Nerlens Noel sustained a bruised foot in the third and wasn’t able to return. He had 11 points and four rebounds.
Heat-Blazers: The Heat sure are making things interesting these days. They posted another big win last night against the Blazers in Miami, surging from behind to a 108-104 result.
Dwyane Wade was stellar once again, putting up 32 points on the evening--15 of those came in the fourth quarter alone. As a matter of fact, he leads the league in fourth-quarter scoring, with a 7.3 PPG average.
Luol Deng was also great here, posting 24 points on 4-of-4 from 3-point range.
Bulls-Pacers: The Bulls became the latest team to rain on the Pacers’ postseason parade, taking a 103-86 victory last night at United Center.
Nikola Mirotic put up another fabulous game for the Bulls, posting 25 points--20 of which came in the second half. Mike Dunleavy would add 21 and Pau Gasol logged 19 points and 12 rebounds.
Chicago is now 41-28 while the Pacers slip to 30-37 on the season.
