The Los Angeles Clippers play host to the Washington Wizards on Friday night at Staples Center.
The Los Angeles Clippers will be looking to continue their push to the playoffs with a third straight win after making light work of the Kings in a 116-105 win on Wednesday. Chris Paul dominated the game with 30 points and 11 assists, JJ Redick added 27 points while Hedo Turkoglu and Blake Griffin added 19 points each as the Clippers shot 51.1 percent from the field and 17 of 37 from the three-point line. The Kings were without their leading scorer and rebounder in DeMarcus Cousins, but that doesn't really take anything away from what was always going to be an easy win for the Clippers who are finally starting to get healthy. On that note, LA is still without their Sixth Man of the Year in Jamal Crawford and he is still without a timetable to return.

Meanwhile, the Washington Wizards have won seven of their last nine and are going for a sixth straight win after taking down the Jazz in an 88-84 victory on Wednesday. John wall led the way with 24 points, nine rebounds and six assists while Paul Pierce added 18 points as the Wizards won a tough road game despite turning it over 21 times. It really wasn't the prettiest of wins for the Wizards, but they're recent success has come because of their defense which has held their opponents to just 86.8 points during this five-game win streak.
In ATS trends, the Wizards are 5-0 ATS in their last five games overall but just 3-11 ATS in their last 14 road games, while the Clippers are 1-4 ATS in their last five home games and 2-8 ATS in their last 10 against the Eastern Conference.
Head to head, the Wizards are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings overall and 3-1-1 ATS in the last five meetings in Los Angeles.
The Wizards have been money in their last five games, but they're not nearly as good on the road and could really struggle against the Clippers who are heating up now.
