The Minnesota Timberwolves travel to Salt Lake City to battle the Utah Jazz tonight.
The Minnesota Timberwolves have lost 11 of their last 13 and will be looking to bounce back from last night's 109-98 loss to the Hornets. Seven players finished in double digits with Gorgui Dieng leading the way with 16 points on five of eight shooting, but the Wolves still couldn't find the win after leading all the way in a 59-point first half. In a bizzare statistic, the Wolves shot a healthy 55.4 percent from the floor making just the third time since 1996-97 the team has lost when shooting better than 55 percent. With the loss, Minnesota drops to 15-54 on the season and 9-26 at home.

Meanwhile, the Utah Jazz have been one of the hottest teams in the league with 10 wins in their last 13 outings but they'll be looking to bounce back after getting routed by the Warriors 106-91. Derrick Favors had a strong game of 21 points and 11 rebounds, Trey Burke added 20 points and Rodney Hood had 19, but there was just no stopping the Warriors who are a league-best 33-2 at home. Gordon Hayward struggled from the field and finished with just 11 points and seven assists on three of 13 shooting, but the biggest disappointment was Rudy Gobert who missed all five of his shot attempts and looked completely outmatched against the Warriors' Andrew Bogut. With the loss, Utah drops to 31-38 on the season and 14-21 on the road.
In ATS trends, the Wolves are 21-6-1 ATS in their last 28 games following a double digit loss at home and 2-6 ATS in their last eight games overall, while the Jazz are 4-1 ATS in their last five games following a loss and 1-4 ATS in their last five home games against a team with a losing road record.
Head to head, the Wolves are 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings in Utah and the over is 24-10-1 in the last 35 meetings overall.
It's hard to go against the Jazz at home these days, but this just seems like a few points too many to be giving the Wolves. Take Minnesota with the points in this one.
