The Toronto Raptors and Detroit Pistons square off Tuesday night at The Palace of Auburn Hills.
The Toronto Raptors look for a win after winning four of their last six games. On the season, the Raptors are averaging 104.3 points on 45.3 percent shooting and are allowing 101.2 points on 46.1 percent shooting. DeMar DeRozan is averaging 19.3 points and 4.4 rebounds while Louis Williams is averaging 15 points and two assists. Jonas Valanciunas is grabbing 8.7 rebounds and Greivis Vasquez is dishing 3.6 assists. The Toronto Raptors are allowing 47.6 percent shooting in their last five games and have lost nine of their last 11 when allowing 100-plus points. The Raptors inconsistent defense has killed them all season and could prevent them from getting a top playoff seed. Kyle Lowry is questionable with a knee injury.

The Detroit Pistons play spoiler after winning three of their last four games. On the season, the Pistons are averaging 98 points on 42.7 percent shooting and are allowing 99.6 points on 45.6 percent shooting. Reggie Jackson is averaging 15.3 points and 8.3 assists while Andre Drummond is averaging 13.1 points and 13.3 rebounds. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is shooting 40.2 percent from the field and Jodie Meeks is dishing 1.4 assists. The Detroit Pistons are allowing just 42.2 percent shooting in their last five games and have allowed no more than 97 points during that stretch. Still, the Pistons have been wildly inconsistent, especially at home where they’re 14-21 SU on the season. Greg Monroe and Shawne Williams are questionable with injuries.
The Raptors are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 road games and 5-11 ATS in their last 16 games overall. The Pistons are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games playing on 1 days rest and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Raptors are 5-0 ATS in the last 5 meetings in Detroit.
I don't like the way the Pistons are playing, especially against playoff teams. I'll take the much better team and the small chalk.
