The Boston Celtics invade the Time Warner Cable Arena to battle the Charlotte Hornets on Monday.
The Boston Celtics will be going for a third straight road victory tonight as they look to stay in the playoff picture. On Friday against the Knicks, Isaiah Thomas led the way with 18 points, Jae Crowder added 17 points while Brandon Bass added 16 as the Celtics beat the Knicks by 96-92 to improve to 32-40 and stay in the eighth spot in the Eastern Conference, just half a game ahead of Brooklyn and one game ahead of Indiana and Charlotte.

Speaking of Charlotte, the Hornets were able to snap a three-game skid on Saturday by taking advantage of the Hawks who were without all five of their usual starters thanks to injuries and rest. Kemba Walker led the way with 21 points, Gerald Henderson added 20 points while Mo Williams had 18 points as the Hornets made the most of a rare opportunity and improved their record to 31-41 which leaves them just outside of the playoff picture looking in.
In ATS trends, the Celtics are 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall and 34-16-1 ATS in their last 51 games playing on zero days rest, while the Hornets are 1-4 ATS in their last five games against a team with a losing record and 0-6 ATS in their last six home games against a team with a losing road record.
Head to head, the underdog is 23-9-1 ATS in the last 33 meetings and the under is 5-0 in the last five meetings in Charlotte.
There is just so much riding on this game in terms of jostling for the playoffs, so you just know this one is going to be one to watch. Neither team have been in form lately, but the Celtics have shown plenty of fight in their last two road games that they've won so I'm sticking with them to at least take this one to the wire.
