The Indiana Pacers travel to Barclays Center to take on the Brooklyn Nets tonight.
The Indiana Pacers have bounced back from a string of six straight losses with two wins in their last three outings including a 104-99 victory over the Mavericks on Sunday. CJ Miles made five threes to lead the way with 28 points while George Hill and Roy Hibbert added 14 points each as the Pacers battled with the Mavs for three quarters before pulling away late in the game. With the win, Indiana improved to 32-41 overall, 19-18 at home and a perfect 5-0 this season when wearing its 1980s throwback uniforms. With their current record, the Pacers sit just outside of the playoff picture looking in, just half a game behind the Celtics and the Nets.

Speakings of the Nets, they were sputtering for most of the season but have suddenly found their groove, winning seven of their last nine games and their last three straight. On Sunday against the Lakers, Brook Lopez poured in 30 points on 13 of 22 shooting, Joe Johnson added 18 points while Deron Williams added 13 points and nine assists as the Nets beat the Lakers by 107-99 to improve to 32-40 on the season. Beating the Lakers really isn't much to write home about these days, but there was always a chance of a letdown performance after taking down the star-studded Cavaliers on Friday.
In ATS trends, the Pacers are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games overall and 1-4 ATS in their last five games against a team with a losing record, while the Nets are 4-1-2 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a losing record and 1-5-2 ATS in their last eight home games.
Head to head, the Pacers are 9-2 ATS in the last 11 meetings in Brooklyn and the over is 4-0 in the last four meetings.
I know the trends are suggesting a cover for the Pacers in this game, but the Nets have really captured my attention with their play lately and I expect them to continue their strong form with another solid win at home where they've won three of their last four.
