The San Antonio Spurs and the Miami Heat meet for the second and final time this regular season.
The San Antonio Spurs continued their surge towards the playoffs with another impressive victory, this time beating the Grizzlies by 103-89 on Sunday. Kawhi Leonard led the way with 25 points on 11 of 17 shooting, Tony Parker added 17 points and Tiago Splitter had 15 points as the Spurs wrestled with the Grizzlies all game before exploding in a 33-23 fourth quarter effort. The Spurs are widely known for sharing the ball and not having to rely on any one player, but in this game, Leonard dominated the ball in the fourth quarter and scored the team's first 15 points in the final period to remind everyone just how good he is when healthy. With the win, San Antonio improved to 47-26 which puts them just 1 1/2 games behind the Clippers who are currently ranked fifth in the Western Conference.

Over in the Eastern Conference, the Miami Heat are coming off their second win in three games, beating the Pistons by 109-102 at home on Sunday. Just a day after a knee procedure, Dwyane Wade turned back the clock with a game-high 40 points on 14 of 27 shooting while Udonis Haslem as the Heat beat the Pistons without the help of their only true center in Hassan Whiteside who sat out with injury. James Ennis was able to chip in with a season-high 16 points while Mario Chalmers and Goran Dragic added 11 and 10 points respectively as the Heat won their fifth straight at home to improve to 34-39 on the season which is currently good enough for seventh place in the East.
In ATS trends, the Spurs are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games overall and 6-2 ATS in their last eight against the Eastern Conference, while the Heat are 5-0 ATS in their last five home games and 6-14-2 ATS in their last 22 games against a team above .600.
Head to head, the Spurs are 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings and the under is 14-6 in the last 20 meetings in Miami.
The Heat have been very good at home lately, but the Spurs will give them all they can handle tonight and I just can't see the Heat coming out with a win in this one, not with the amount of injuries they are having to deal with at the moment.
