The Los Angeles Clippers hit the road to take on the Portland Trailblazers at the Moda Center tonight.
The Los Angeles Clippers are coming off just their second loss since Blake Griffin returned to the lineup, falling to the league-best Warriors by 110-106 in a thriller last night. Griffin led the way with a monster game of 40 points, 12 rebounds and five assists while Chris Paul added 27 points and nine assists, but while the Clippers started the game hot and got out to an early double digit lead, they just couldn't make the key buckets late in the fourth quarter and it cost them the game. With the loss, LA drops to 49-26 overall and 27-11 at home where they had won three straight before last night.

Meanwhile, the Portland Trailblazers will be going for a fifth straight win tonight after making light work of the Suns in a 109-86 win on Monday. Damian Lillard led the way with 19 points and seven assists, LaMarcus Aldridge added 17 points while Nicolas Batum and Arron Afflalo had 16 points each as the Blazers took care of the Suns thanks to a dominant 54-37 second half performance. With the win, Portland improves to 48-25 on the season which has them at fourth place in the Western Conference, just ahead of the fifth-placed Clippers on percentage points alone.
In ATS trends, the Clippers are 4-0 ATS in their last four road games and 5-2 ATS in their last seven games overall, while the Blazers are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games following a win and 7-1 ATS in their last eight games against the NBA Pacific.
Head to head, the Clippers are 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings overall but the road team is 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings.
With the playoffs just around the corner and the Western Conference so packed, this game could play a major role in how the standings finish come playoff time, so this is definitely a game to watch. In terms of picking a winner, I really can't pick between these teams but I'm slightly leaning towards the Blazers at home especially with the Clippers playing just last night.
