The New York Knicks travel to the nation's capital to take on the Washington Wizards on Saturday.
The New York Knicks continue to struggle to lose games on a nightly basis, but that hasn't stopped them from competing as the Nets found out on Wednesday. Andrea Bargnani scored 22 points, Cleanthony Early scored 14 points while Langston Galloway added 13 points as the Knicks came back from a 16-point deficit and almost pulled off the upset against the surging Nets. We've known for a very long time that the Knicks are just looking forward to the upcoming lottery draft, but every once in a while we see the Knicks put together some very competitive games and cause upsets.

Meanwhile, the Washington Wizards have lost five of their last seven but were able to get their season back on track with an easy 106-93 win over the lowly 76ers on Wednesday. John Wall drove the team with 13 points and 15 assists while Bradley Beal added 20 points of his own, but the biggest performer for the Wizards was actually Marcin Gortat who poured in 23 points and 14 rebounds while shooting 10 of 11 from the field. The final score doesn't quite do justice to how one-sided the game actually was because the Wizards were actually up by 93-62 after three quarters before taking their foot off the gas in the fourth. With the win, Washington improves to 42-33 on the season and 27-12 at home.
In ATS trends, the Knicks are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games following a loss and 0-5 ATS in their last five road games, while the Wizards are 5-0 ATS in their last five games following a win of more than 10 points but just 9-24 ATS in their last 33 games overall.
Head to head, the Knicks are 1-5 ATS in the last six meetings overall but the road team is 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings.
The Wizards absolutely crushed the Sixers in their last outing and I'm expecting a similar result against a similar opponent. Take the Wizards to win this one by plenty.
