The Golden State Warriors travel to the Lone Star state to take on the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday.
The Golden State Warriors have been rolling through opponents at home all season, and they looked to be onto another double digit victory on Friday, but instead had to battle against the Suns and found themselves looking for a prayer with the clock winding down. Luckily, Stephen Curry and Harrison Barnes made the last two buckets down the stretch to help the Warriors sneak away with the 107-106 win. Curry finished with 28 points, Klay Thompson added 16 points while Marreese Speights had 12 points, but overall the Warriors should consider themselves a little lucky to escape with the win despite a pretty lackluster performance.

Meanwhile, the Dallas Mavericks have lost five of their last seven and will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing 108-101 loss against the Rockets on Friday. Dirk Nowitzki led the team with 21 points while Monta Ellis added 19 points but shot just seven of 21 from the field as the Mavs dominated the first half before falling to pieces in the second half, especially in the fourth quarter where they were outscored by 31-18. Part of the reason was that Chandler Parsons left the game in the third quarter with soreness in his right knee and didn't return, leaving his status for this game in question. With the loss, Dallas fell to 46-30 on the season and 25-13 at home.
In ATS trends, the Warriors are 4-0 ATS in their last four road games and 8-1 ATS in their last nine games overall, while the Mavs are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games against a team with a winning record and 1-4 ATS in their last five home games.
Head to head, the Warriors are 36-16-1 ATS in the last 53 meetings overall and 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings in Dallas.
The Warriors really shouldn't have much of a problem getting the road win and the cover in this one, but with nothing left to really play for in the regular season, I wouldn't be surprised at all if coach Kerr elects to give his reserves more of a run in this one so I'm actually siding with the Mavs and the points in this one.
