The Los Angeles Clippers travel to the Pepsi Center to battle the Denver Nuggets tonight.
The Los Angeles Clippers bounced back from a disappointing loss to the Warriors on Tuesday with an impressive 126-122 win over the Trailblazers on Wednesday thanks to a monster night from Chris Paul who scored 41 points and 17 assists with five threes. JJ Redick also had a strong game of 25 points, while Blake Griffin added 24 points and eight assists, but this game was all about a crucial moment in the third quarter when Chris Kaman decided to shove Paul which was a bad idea because from that moment on, CP3 took over the game and made the Blazers pay. With the win, LA improves to 50-26 which keeps them at fifth place in the Western Conference standings with an identical record to the sixth-placed Spurs.

Meanwhile, the Denver Nuggets have seven of their last nine games and are coming off a 123-93 beatdown thanks to the Spurs. Danilo Gallinari had a nice game of 20 points while Jameer Nelson added 14 points off the bench, but this game was done and dusted before you could get into your seats as the Spurs got hot early and put the Nuggets in a 45-25 hole after the first quarter. With the loss, Denver fell to 28-48 on the season and 11-28 on the road.
In ATS trends, the Clippers are 4-0 ATS in their last four games against a team with a losing record and 5-0 ATS in their last five road games, while the Nuggets are 4-1 ATS in their last five home games and 5-15- ATS in their last 20 games following a loss.
Head to head, the Clippers are just 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings overall and 0-5 ATS in the last five meetings in Denver.
The ATS trends are very one-sided in favor of the Nuggets at home, but the Clippers should really have no problem getting the double digit win if they start the game the right way and play hard. With the Western Conference as packed as it is, the Clippers can't afford to let this game slip so I'm taking them to win by double digits for sure.
