The Line: Miami Heat -3 -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds

The Charlotte Hornets and Miami Heat play Tuesday night at the AmericanAirlines Arena.

The Charlotte Hornets need a win after splitting their last six games. On the season, the Hornets are averaging 94.9 points on 42.3 percent shooting and are allowing 97 points on 43.8 percent shooting. Mo Williams is averaging 18.2 points and 6.3 assists while Kemba Walker is averaging 17.9 points and 5.2 assists. Gerald Henderson is dishing 2.6 assists and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist is grabbing 7.6 rebounds. The Charlotte Hornets are one of many teams fighting for one of the last spots in the East, but they’re shooting just 43.5 percent in their last five games. The Hornets have lost six of their last seven games on the road. Al Jefferson and Bismack Biyombo are questionable while Cody Zeller is doubtful with injuries.

Hornets at Heat - 4/7/15 NBA Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Miami Heat need a win after losing their last four games. On the season, the Heat are averaging 94.4 points on 45.6 percent shooting and are allowing 97.2 points on 45.6 percent shooting. Dwyane Wade is averaging 21.6 points and 4.8 assists while Goran Dragic is averaging 16.1 points and 5.5 assists. Mario Chalmers is dishing 3.9 assists and  Henry Walker is grabbing 3.5 rebounds. The Miami Heat are allowing 48.1 percent shooting in their last five games and have lost five of their last eight when allowing 100-plus points. The Heat pretty much have to win out in order for them to clinch a playoff spot. Birdman, Luol Deng, Hassan Whiteside and Michael Beasley are questionable with injuries.

The Hornets are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 vs. NBA Southeast and 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games following a S.U. win. The Heat are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 home games and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 vs. Eastern Conference. The Hornets are 4-12-1 ATS in the last 17 meetings.

This is pretty much an elimination game as far as the playoffs are concerned. With so much on the line, I'm going to side with the home team. However, I'm scared to death of Miami's injuries.
