April 7, 2015
After just one game last night, the NBA is getting back into the swing of things with a half-dozen matchups scheduled for this evening. Before we get set for tip-offs, let’s check out some of the notable players in the news this morning in our daily wrap-up.
Nets-Blazers: The Nets were the victors in the solitary game on the NBA schedule last night, taking a home win over the Blazers 106-96. Brook Lopez was the dominant force here, putting up 32 points and nine rebounds and dominating his twin brother Robin.
This game was a makeup of a cancelled matchup postponed by weather on January 26. As such, the Blazers left LaMarcus Aldridge and some other players at home.
Deron Williams also played well for the Nets, logging 24 points and 10 assists. Brooklyn has a hold of the No. 7 slot in the East and has won nine of 11.

The Kings upgraded forward Rudy Gay to questionable for tonight’s game against Minnesota. He’s missed the last three games due to a concussion.
Meanwhile, Nik Stauskas is questionable due to a back strain.
On the other side, the Heat downgraded Michael Beasley to doubtful for tonight’s game against the Hornets.
