The New Orleans Pelicans take on the Memphis Grizzlies at the FedexForum on Wednesday night.
The Memphis Grizzlies have lost four of their last six overall and will be looking to bounce back from a 92-83 loss to the Wizards with the playoffs just around the corner. Marc Gasol led the way with 18 points and 11 rebounds while Mike Conley added 14 points and eight assists, but the Grizzlies were always running uphill after falling behind by 29-18 after the first quarter. Zach Randolph struggled to get anything going on the offensive side of the floor, finishing with just six points and Jeff Green wasn't much better as he scored just nine points. As a team, the Grizzlies shot a miserable one of 15 from the three-point line to round out what a rough shooting night. With the loss, Memphis falls to 52-25 on the season which leaves them one game behind the second-seed Houston with just five games left to play.

Meanwhile, the New Orleans Pelicans remain on the outside of the playoff picture looking in as they're currently just half a game behind the eighth-seed Thunder, but an easy stretch in their schedule has allowed them to rattle off four straight wins before they lost at Portland on Saturday. Eric Gordon scored a team-high 22 points while Tyreke Evans added 21 points, but the Pelicans needed more from Anthony Davis who, by his standards, had a qiuet night of 19 points on eight of 20 shooting. The loss drops the Pelicans 41-35 on the season and really hurts as they missed a big chance to draw level with the Thunder who currently hold the last spot in Western Conference.
In ATS trends, the Pelicans are 14-5 ATS in their last 19 games playing on zero days rest and 1-5 ATS in their last six games against a team with a winning record, while the Grizzlies are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games playing on three or more days rest and 1-4 ATS in their last five games against a team with a winning record.
Head to head, the Pelicans are 7-1 ATS in the last eight meetings overall and the under is 5-0 in the last five meetings in Memphis.
The Grizzlies should be able to get the win at home, but the Pelicans will be desperate to stay in the playoff race and given how good they were last night, I'm sticking with Davis and the Pelicans to at least stay within a couple of possessions.
