The Milwaukee Bucks pay a visit to MSG to match up with the New York Knicks on Friday night.
With only four games remaining in the regular season the goal for the Milwaukee Bucks is to head in to the postseason with a full head of steam and a winning record. Both goals were put on hold as the Bucks dropped number two in a row in a 104-92 loss to visiting Cleveland who clinched the second seed in the Eastern Conference. The Bucks need to keep the score in the 90’s to have their best chance but with the Cavaliers hitting at almost 49% with Kyrie Irving scoring 27 and LeBron James adding 21 that didn’t happen. Milwaukee did sink half their looks with Michael Carter-Williams pouring in a career high 30 points with eight dishes followed by a 19 point, ten rebound effort from Zaza Pachulia. Khris Middleton netted 16 points with OJ Mayo adding eleven.

It has obviously been a long season for the New York Knicks who have just 15 wins with four games remaining on the schedule. Not enough scoring and too much of it done by the opposition best describes what the team has gone through. Both trends continued in Wednesday’s 102-86 defeat at the hands of visiting Indiana which left the team staring at losses in nine of ten. A 14 point first and 17 point third did the team in with the Pacers having no issues scoring the basketball on over 49% accuracy. The Knicks struggle throughout the night at the offensive end on 34.5% marksmanship with just one player hitting at 50%. Langston Galloway led the attack with19 points and five yanks with Andrea Bargnani adding 15 points and six pulls. Jason Smith, Tim Hardaway Jr. and Quincy Acy rounded out the scoring with 12 points apiece.
For Milwaukee the over is 4-0 in last 4 road games versus a team with a home winning % of less than .400 while the Bucks are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games versus a team with a winning % below .400 and 0-3-1 ATS in their last 4 road games versus a team with a losing home record. The Knicks are 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game and 1-7 ATS in their last 8 when their opponent allows 100 points or more in their previous game while the over is 4-1 in Knicks last 5 vs. a team with a losing S.U. record. Head to head the under is 6-1 in the last 7 meetings in New York while the Bucks are 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings and 9-4 ATS in the last 13 meetings in New York. No line has been released but the Bucks have more on the line here so I’ll be looking hard at them…
