The Oklahoma City Thunder and Indiana Pacers meet Sunday at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
The Oklahoma City Thunder look for a win after losing six of their last eight games. On the season, the Thunder are averaging 103.6 points on 44.7 percent shooting and are allowing 101.6 points on 43.9 percent shooting. Russell Westbrook is averaging 27.5 points and 8.6 assists while Enes Kanter is averaging 18.3 points and 11 rebounds. Dion Waiters is dishing 1.9 assists and Anthony Morrow is grabbing 2.6 rebounds. The Oklahoma City Thunder are allowing 51.2 percent shooting in their last five games and have lost five of their last six games when allowing 100-plus points. OKC needs this game if it’s going to have any shot of making the last playoff spot in the West.
USA TODAY Sports
The Indiana Pacers look to build on their four-game winning streak. On the season, the Pacers are averaging 97.3 points on 44 percent shooting and are allowing 97 points on 43.6 percent shooting. George Hill is averaging 15.7 points and 4.9 assists while Paul George is averaging 11 points and three rebounds. C.J. Miles is grabbing 2.9 rebounds and Rodney Stuckey is dishing three assists. The Indiana Pacers are shooting 45.2 percent from the field and 42.2 percent from deep in their last five games. The Pacers also need a win if they’re going to sneak into the East playoffs. C.J. Watson is questionable with an elbow injury.
The Thunder are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 Sunday games and 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Pacers are 12-5 ATS in their last 17 home games and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games following a S.U. win. The Thunder are 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings and the underdog is 14-6 ATS in the last 20 meetings.
Big game for both teams. And while the Pacers are at home and have help with George back on the floor, this has the feel of one of those games Westbrook takes over and just finds a way. I'll take OKC and the points here.
