It has been a long season for the Charlotte Hornets with their struggles putting the ball in the basket putting them behind the eight ball too often. The Hornets had issues in the scoring department Sunday in a 116-77 loss at Detroit for their 4th consecutive defeat. The visitors were outscored 30-10 in the first to set the tone as the Pistons never stopped scoring on nearly 51% marksmanship while the visitors struggled to 34% accuracy. Noah Vonleh was the top offensive option for the Hornets with 16 points and 12 rebounds on 6-11 from the field while Gerald Henderson was next in line with 14 points on 6-16. Brian Roberts netted eleven points followed by Jeffery Taylor with ten points. This one was in the books early with Detroit ahead 59-34 at the break.
