The Portland Trailblazers travel to the Chesapeake Energy Arena to take on the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Oklahoma City Thunder have lost seven of their last nine games and will be looking for a win tonight after getting beaten by the Pacers by 116-104 last night. Russell Westbrook poured in 54 points on 21 of 43 shooting while Dion Waiters chipped in with 16 points, but it still wasn't enough to get past the Pacers who shot a healthy 53.2 percent from the field and 10 of 20 from the three-point line. In fact, the Thunder have been terrible on defense for a while now, allowing teams to average 113.7 points in their last six games and that's just not good enough to win many games in the regular season let alone the playoffs. With the loss, OKC missed a great opportunity to overtake the Pelicans for the last spot in the playoffs as they're still just 43-37 on the season.

Meanwhile, the Portland Trailblazers have lost three of their last four games and will be hoping to avoid a third straight loss after falling to the Jazz by 111-105 on Saturday. Damian Lillard led the team in scoring with 28 points, CJ McCollum added 26 points while Robin Lopez had 21 points, but some porous defense allowed the Jazz to get off to a 32-19 first quarter which had the Blazers running uphill all game. The Blazers also needed more from Nicolas Batum who shot just one of 10 for his two points which really hurt the team because they were already without their leading scorer in LaMarcus Aldridge who sat out with a foot injury and is questionable for tonight.
In ATS trends, the Blazers are 4-9 ATS in their last 13 road games against a team with a home winning percentage above .600 and 2-6 ATS in their last eight against the NBA Northwest, while the Thunder are 0-4 ATS in their last four home games and 0-5 ATS in their last five games overall.
Head to head, the Blazers are 4-9-1 ATS in the last 14 meetings and the under is 20-6-2 in the last 28 meetings in Oklahoma City.
The news is that Aldridge is still out for the Blazers and Westbrook had his technical foul rescinded so this changes the line dramatically. With that being said, the Thunder are heavy favorites in this one and should win, but I'm actually preferring a play on the Over in this one as neither team has been playing much defense in their last two games.
