The Toronto Raptors travel to the TD Garden to take on the Boston Celtics tonight.
The Toronto Raptors have won six of their last eight and will be looking for a fourth straight win tonight after sneaking past the Heat in a 107-104 win on Saturday. DeMar DeRozan had a nice game of 24 points on seven of 17 shooting but was outdone by Louis Williams who poured in 29 points on nine of 18 shooting off the bench as the Raptors improved to 48-32 on the season and 22-18 on the road. With the win, Toronto moved to within half a game of the third-placed Bulls which gives them a slim chance at claiming the third seed if they win their last two games.

Meanwhile, the Boston Celtics looked like they had no chance of making the playoffs just a few weeks ago, but they've won seven of their last 10 and will be going for a fifth straight win after crushing the shorthanded Cavaliers by 117-78 on Sunday. Isaiah Thomas led the way with 17 points while Evan Turner added 15 points as the Celtics dominated the Cavs by 34-9 in the second quarter and pushed right till the end for their biggest win of the season. Sure, LeBron James didn't suit up for Sunday's game, but the Celtics did also beat the Cavs a couple nights earlier when James did play, so the Celtics will be quietly confident about their chances in the first round of the playoffs as they're most likely to be matched with the Cavs.
In ATS trends, the Raptors ar e 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games following a win and 2-9 ATS in their last 11 games following an ATS win, while the Celtics are 4-0 ATS in their last four games overall and 11-4-1 ATS in their last 16 home games.
Head to head, the Raptors are 10-22-1 ATS in the last 33 meetings overall and 2-8-1 ATS in the last 11 meetings in Boston.
The Raptors have been in good form lately, but the Celtics have been playing their best basketball of the season, so I like their chances of staying hot, especially after back to back wins over the Cavs.
