The Los Angeles Clippers and the San Antonio Spurs battle in Game 5 at the Staples Center tonight.
The Clippers looked to be in serious trouble after losing Games 2 and 3, but they were able to reclaim home-court advantage with an impressive 114-105 win in Game 4. Chris Paul bounced back from one of the worst games of his entire career to lead the Clippers with 34 points and seven assists while Blake Griffin added 20 points, 19 rebounds and seven assists but the real spark plug for the team was actually Austin Rivers who scored a rapid-fire 16 points in just 17 minutes off the bench. After getting held to just 34 percent shooting in Game 3, the Clippers shot 53.6 percent in Game 4 and committed just nine turnovers as a team compared to Game 3 where Paul on his own committed six.

As for the Spurs, Kawhi Leonard was once again dominant, leading the team with 26 points, Tim Duncan added 22 points while Tony Parker added 18 points but it just wasn't the same as they shot just 44 percent from the field and six of 26 from the three-point line, well below their percentages in Game 3. Overall, the Spurs just weren't as focused or as hungry as they was in the two previous games and it showed on both ends of the court.
In ATS trends, the Spurs are 5-1 ATS in their last six games following a loss and 2-5 ATS in their last seven games overall, while the Clippers are 2-5-1 ATS in their last eight games overall and 1-6 ATS in their last seven home games.
Head to head, the underdog is 12-4 ATS in the last 16 meetings overall and the over is 5-2 in the last seven meetings in Los Angeles.
The Clippers were just about dead in the water if they didn't win Game 4, but to their credit, they pulled together and put together an impressive win to level the series. I really can't make up my mind up about this game, but I can definitely see this series going seven games so I'm taking the Clippers to improve to 3-2 after this game.
