April 28, 2015
There are two very important games in the NBA Playoffs tonight, as more of the remaining teams attempt to keep their seasons going. While we’re waiting on tip-offs, let’s check out some of the notable players and situations in our daily wrap-up.
Nets-Hawks: This Atlanta-Brooklyn series is getting very interesting. The Nets were able to tie things up at 2-2 last night, following a 120-115 victory in New York.
Deron Williams carried the team with a 35-point effort (tying a career-high in the playoffs). It was a big game from him following a couple of dismal outings.
The Nets are now just two wins away from becoming only the sixth No. 8 seed to beat a No. 1, but they’ve got a long road still to go.

Bucks-Bulls: Here’s another series that’s starting to get interesting. The Bucks avoided elimination last night in Game 5 in Chicago, posting a 94-88 win over the Bulls.
Michael Carter-Williams managed 22 points and nine assists while Khris Middleton put up 21 points of his own.
The Bulls are still up 3-2 and will try to end the series once again on Thursday in Milwaukee.
Grizzlies-Trail Blazers: This series will be going extra games as well. The Trail Blazers staved off elimination last night in Portland with a 99-92 win over the Grizzlies, bringing that series to 3-1 in favor of Memphis.
LaMarcus Aldridge led the way here with 18 points and 12 rebounds; C.J. McCollum added 18 as well.
The Trail Blazers will now try to do the impossible and win three more in a row to get out of this first round.
