We’ve got two more big games on tap in the NBA tonight, as the first round continues for this year’s playoffs. While we’re waiting on game-time, let’s check out some of the notable players and stats out there in the league.
Rockets-Mavericks: The Rockets have joined the ranks of the second round of this year’s NBA Playoffs, thanks to a 103-94 win over the Mavericks last night.
Houston completes the series with a 4-1 advantage and will take on the winner of the Clippers-Spurs matchup.
James Harden scored 28 points here, while Terrence Jones managed 15--with 10 of those coming in the fourth quarter alone. Dwight Howard added a double-double on 18 points with 19 rebounds while Josh Smith helped out inside with 20 points.

Clippers-Spurs: Speaking of the aforementioned Clippers-Spurs matchup, let’s check in on that one. The Spurs struck the latest blow in Game 5 last night, taking a 3-2 series lead on a 111-107 win in Los Angeles.
This game wasn’t without controversy and drama. DeAndre Jordan was called for basket interference with just 4.3 seconds left, touching a bouncing Blake Griffin shot that was careening around the rim.
The Clippers couldn’t recover from that pivotal play, and now will try to stave off elimination with two straight wins.
