The Atlanta Hawks host the Washington Wizards in Game 5 at the Philips Arena tonight.
The Hawks have been far from convincing all postseason but they looked to have regained a little bit of their midseason form with an impressive 106-101 win over the Wizards in Game 4. Paul Millsap recovered from that flu to put up 19 points and six assists while Al Horford found his mid-range jumper to finish with 18 points and 10 rebounds, but Jeff Teague was the real driving force for the Hawks, leading the way with 26 points and eight assists while shooting 9 of 20 from the field. Defensively, the Hawks still aren't playing near their best form, but they did a great job of sharing the ball on offense and it resulted in 30 assists on 41 field goal makes, many from right around the basket.

As for the Wizards, Paul Pierce picked up right where he left off, knocking down his first five threes to finish with 22 points for the game while Bradley Beal led the game with 34 points on 11 of 25 shooting, but the Wizards just struggled defensively, allowing too many points in the paint, especially in the second half where the Hawks piled on 65 points. Still, the Wizards rallied and were right there with a chance to force overtime, but Pierce just missed on a wide open three on an inbounds play. John Wall missed Games 3 and 4 but was spotted doing some shooting work during today's practice so there's an outside chance he may feature tonight.
In ATS trends, the Wizards are 4-0-1 ATS in their last five games following a loss and 8-2-1 ATS in their last 11 games overall, while the Hawks are 24-10-1 ATS in their last 35 games against a team with a winning record and 4-13-1 ATS in their last 18 Conference Semifinals games.
Head to head, the Wizards are 2-6-1 ATS in the last nine meetings overall and the over is 7-1 in the last eight meetings in Atlanta.
After what I saw from Game 4, I'm quite confident that the Hawks will come out on top in this one, but this just feels like too many points to be giving a Wizards team playing this well.
