The Memphis Grizzlies and Golden State Warriors play game five of their playoff series Wednesday night.
The Memphis Grizzlies need this win to regain home court advantage. Marc Gasol is averaging 19.8 points and 9.6 rebounds while Zach Randolph is averaging 16 points and 8.6 rebounds. Mike Conley is dishing 4.3 assists and Jeff Green is grabbing 4.6 rebounds. The Memphis Grizzlies are shooting 43.4 percent from the field and 32.5 percent from deep in these playoffs. The Grizzlies played game four without that edge, and Tony Allen played only 16 minutes. The Grizzlies have to play tougher on both sides of the ball if they’re going to win this series. Offensively, Lee needs to be more consistent as he’s just 2-7 from three in his last two games. The Grizzlies have lost five of their last eight games on the road.

The Golden State Warriors take control of this series with a victory. Stephen Curry is averaging 29 points and 6.6 assists while Klay Thompson is averaging 20.8 points and 3.8 rebounds. Draymond Green is grabbing 10.5 rebounds and Harrison Barnes is dishing 1.8 assists. The Golden State Warriors are shooting 45.3 percent from the field and 36.3 percent from deep in these playoffs. The Warriors found their shot in game four and hope that carries over with their return home. Barnes is 13-24 from the field in his last two games, giving the Warriors a major boost outside of the Splash Brothers. The Warriors haven’t lost a game this season when scoring 100-plus points. The Warriors have lost just one home game since January 27th. Marreese Speights is out with a calf injury.
The Grizzlies are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 Conference Semifinals games and 8-3-1 ATS in their last 12 games overall. The Warriors are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 home games and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games playing on 1 days rest. The Grizzlies are 7-2 ATS in the last 9 meetings in Golden State.
While giving credit to the Warriors for stepping up, the Grizz didn't play with the same energy they did in their victories. Memphis is a physical team that gives Golden State issues when it comes to play. In the biggest game of the series, I'm taking the points and wouldn't be shocked if the Grizzlies won outright.
