Career Stats: 19.6 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 1.8 assists and one steal
Strengths: Tyler Haws has great size for his position and is a tough kid. Haws is a terrific shooter with NBA range from deep. Haws can get hot offensively quickly and is deadly when his feet are set. Haws doesn’t drive as much as you’d like, but he can finish strong through contact. Haws shot 88.3 percent from the free throw line. Haws is a feisty defender with quick hands and doesn’t back down. Haws has improved as a decision maker and usually makes the right basketball play. Tyler Haws is a hard worker and comes with zero off-the-court issues. Haws plays hard and and is a team player. Haws brings tons of energy and plays with all heart.
Weaknesses: Tyler Haws isn’t a great athlete and may struggle creating separation in the NBA. Haws has issues creating his own shot. Haws struggles defensively against quicker players. Haws is already 24 years old.
Projection: Tyler Haws can really fill it up offensively when he has clean looks. The problem is that Haws lacks any type of athleticism and will likely struggle at the next level. Haws could see some serious time in the D League or even carve out a solid career overseas. I’m just not sure Haws has what it takes to be an NBA player, especially considering he’s already 24 years old.
