Position: Point Guard
Career Stats: 12 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 2.4 assists and 1.5 steals
Strengths: Terry Rozier is a strong and athletic guard who doesn’t back down even though he's undersized. Rozier is extremely quick, which allows him to get to the rim and finish through contact. Rozier has experience at the two-guard spot and is comfortable playing off the ball. Rozier is an above-average ball handler and can create his own shot. Rozier sees the floor well and has a high basketball IQ. Rozier is a feisty defender with extremely quick hands that leads to lots of steals. Rozier has great hops and is a fantastic rebounder for his position. Rozier shot 77.2 percent from the free throw line. Terry Rozier has a good work ethic and comes with zero off-the-court issues.
Weaknesses: Terry Rozier can force the issue and be very careless with the ball. Rozier needs to add some weight, especially in the upper-body area. Rozier needs to improve his jumper and consistency from deep. Rozier’s lack of size limits him to the point guard position. Rozier is already 21 years old.
Projection: Terry Rozier is an elite athlete, can run an offense and create his own shot with ease. Despite his lack of size and the fact he’s a little older than you’d prefer, there’s really not much to dislike when it comes to Rozier’s ability. Rozier is a solid player at both ends of the floor and could sneak into the late first round, giving an already good team a reliable backup point guard from day one.
