The Cavaliers can close things out in the Eastern Conference Finals tonight with a win over the Hawks, and if they can we’ll have our first entrant into the NBA Finals. Before we settle in, let’s check out some of the notable players and situations out there tonight.
Warriors-Rockets: The Rockets fought back last night and showed that they’ve still got a little life left in them. Houston secured a 128-115 win at home against the Warriors, getting their first win of the series in Game 4.
James Harden (of course) helped the team get the victory, logging a career postseason-high 45 points. He scored 17 points in the fourth quarter.
Houston led from wire to wire here, logging 45 points in the first quarter alone--that ties a playoff record.
The Warriors went through a worrisome stint as well, with Stephen Curry falling down in the second quarter. He missed 12 minutes of game-time as he went through concussion protocol, but ended up being okay.
Game 5 is tomorrow night in Oakland.

The Pacers reportedly want to bring back veteran PF Luis Scola, and he reportedly wants to return to the team next year. So what’s the problem?
Well, the reality of retaining Scola may prove to be more than the Pacers can handle financially. Pacers GM Larry Bird recently characterized the situation as a “huge gap,” making it sound like re-signing Scola would be difficult.
Scola posted averages of 9.4 PPG and 6.5 RPG in his 20.4 MPG this season and shot almost 47 percent from the field.
We’ll have to wait and see if the team can do some creative financial wrangling and keep him on board.
