The Cleveland Cavaliers play host to the Golden State Warriors in game four of the NBA Finals.
The good news for the Golden State Warriors is Steph Curry broke out of his scoring funk but the obvious bad news was a 96-91 loss in game three which has the team staring at a 2-1 series deficit. Curry struggled in the first half but caught fire late and finished with 27 points but also turned the ball over six times. Andre Iguodala came off the bench to score 15 but after a 34 point explosion in game two, Klay Thompson was held to 14 points on 6-16 marksmanship. David Lee also contributed eleven points off the bench as the Warriors cut an 18 point hole to one in the 4th before their huge comeback fell short with the Cavs sinking late free throws.

Nothing has changed for the Cleveland Cavaliers as they continue to muddy the water with their stifling defense and ride the scoring of LeBron James. James poured in 40 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and handed out eight assists to just miss out on his second straight triple double. Matthew Dellavadova might be known for his defense but he came through with a huge 20 point effort with several big baskets. JR Smith and Tristian Thompson each added ten points with Thompson hauling in a game high 13 boards. The Cavs still hold the home court edge and have an opportunity to take a huge 3-1 series lead with a home win on Thursday night in game four.
The under is 8-2 in Warriors last 10 games playing on 1 days rest and the over is 4-1 in Warriors last 5 Thursday games while the under is 11-3 in Warriors last 14 overall. The over is 4-0 in Cavaliers last 4 home games vs. a team with a winning road record and the under is 5-0 in Cavaliers last 5 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of greater than .600 while the over is 4-0 in Cavaliers last 4 home games. The under is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings and the Warriors are 10-4 ATS in the last 14 meetings. The Cavaliers nearly collapsed in the 4th so I wonder if the Warriors gained some momentum. However I’ll take the points once again…
