The Washington Wizards play host to the San Antonio Spurs tonight at the Verizon Center.
The Spurs will be aiming for a fourth straight win tonight after making light work of the Knicks by 94-84 on Monday. LaMarcus Aldridge continues to look better and better in the Spurs' offense, leading the team with 19 points against the Knicks while Tim Duncan and Tony Parker added 16 points each. Kawhi Leonard continued his hot start to the season with 18 points, 14 rebounds and four blocks and the Spurs are slowly looking more comfortable with each game.

Meanwhile, the Wizards were going for their third win of the season before losing to the Knicks by 117-110 on Sunday. Bradley Beal led the scoring with 26 points on nine of 23 shooting while John Walled added 25 points, but there was just no stopping the Knicks' Carmelo Anthony who scorched them for 37 points. With the loss, Washington drops to 2-2 on the season and remain a surprising 0-2 at home.
In ATS trends, the Spurs are 8-0 ATS in their last eight against the Eastern Conference and 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall, while the Wizards are 13-6-2 ATS in their last 21 games overall and 1-4 ATS in their last five against the Western Conference.
Head to head, the Spurs are 20-6-2 ATS in the last 28 meetings overall and 7-1 ATS in the last eight meetings in Washington.
This would usually be a nice spot to take the Wizards, but they've yet to win a game at home which leaves me thinking that the improving Spurs are the value bet.
