The Washington Wizards invade the TD Garden tonight to battle the Boston Celtics.
The Celtics will be eager to snap a three-game skid as they head into tonight fresh off a painful 100-98 loss at Indiana. Isaiah Thomas led the team with 27 points and seven assists while Avery Bradley added 21 points, but with the game on the line, neither player could get a clean look at the basket with time winding down and it cost the Celtics the game. Amir Johnson, Jared Sullinger and Thomas all started the game in place of David Lee, Tyler Zeller and Marcus Smart as the Celtics search for their ideal starting lineup.

Meanwhile, the Wizards have won three of their first four games to start the season and are coming off a thrilling 102-99 win over the Spurs. John Wall led the offense with 17 points and 13 assists while Otto Porter Jr chipped in with 19 points on eight of 10 shooting, but with the game on the line, the Wizards turned to Bradley Beal who hit the last second game-winning three to finish with 25 points on 11 of 22 shooting for the game. With the win, Washington improves to 3-1 on the season and 1-1 at home.
In ATS trends, the Wizards are 4-1-1 ATS in their last six games against a team with a losing record and 7-2 ATS in their last nine road games, while the Celtics are 1-4 ATS in their last five home games and 0-4 ATS in their last four games following a loss.
I do like coach Brad Stevens' idea of shaking up the starting lineup as it almost paid off in their last game, but the Wizards are coming off a great win over the Spurs and I'm expecting them to win this one by single digits.
