The Toronto Raptors travel to South Beach to battle the Miami Heat tonight.
The Raptors kicked off their season with five straight wins, but now they have to regroup as they fell to the Magic by 92-87 in an upset loss on Friday. DeMar DeRozan led all scorers with 23 points, Cory Joseph added 19 points while Kyle Lowry had 17, but the Raptors shot a miserable 34.9 percent from the field including five of 23 from the 3-point line. The loss brings an end to the franchise-best 5-0 start to the season, but what made the loss extra disappointing was that the Magic were playing without one of their best players in Nikola Vucevic.

Meanwhile, the Heat will be looking to bounce back from Friday's tough 90-87 loss at Indiana. Chris Bosh led the team with 21 points but had very little support as Justise Winslow scored 13 points and Goran Dragic added 11, but no one else finished in double figures. Dwyane Wade was especially disappointing, finishing with just nine points on four of 15 shooting after scoring at least 20 points in each of the first five games of the season. With the loss, Miami falls to 3-3 overall and 1-2 on the road.
Looking at ATS trends, the Raptors are 5-1 ATS in their first six games this season but they are just 5-12 ATS in their last 17 against the Eastern Conference, while the Heat are 4-0 ATS in their last four games following a loss and 1-8 ATS in their last nine games against a team with a winning record.
The Heat have won two of their first three home games but the Raptors have been one of the hottest teams and they'll be eager to bounce back from their first loss of the season.
