The New York Knicks invade the Air Canada Center to battle the Toronto Raptors tonight.
The Knicks were able to halt a three-game skid on Sunday with a hard-fought 99-95 win over the struggling Lakers. Carmelo Anthony led all scorers with 24 points while Robin Lopez, Jose Calderon and Langston Galloway all chipped in with 14 points each as the Knicks won despite shooting just 39.3 percent from the field. To their credit, the Knicks did a great job of getting to the free throw line especially in the final 2:48 of the game where they outscored the Lakers by 9-0 from the line. With the win, New York improved to 3-4 on the season and 1-3 at home.

Meanwhile, the Raptors will be looking to avoid a third straight loss after getting thumped by the Heat in a 96-76 rout on Sunday. Jonas Valanciunas had a nice game of 17 points on eight of 12 shooting, but the Raptors got absolutely ambushed in a 52-29 second half as no one could get going at all. DeMar DeRozan scored 16 points but shot just five of 14 while committing six turnovers, while Kyle Lowry shot four of 16 for his 15 points as the Raptors fell to 5-2 on the season and 3-2 on the road.
In ATS trends, the Knicks are 5-0-1 ATS in their last six road games and 1-7 ATS in their last eight games following a win, while the Raptors are 5-2 ATS in their seven games this season but 0-5 ATS in their last five games following a loss.
Head to head, the Knicks are 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings but the home team is 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings.
The Raptors will be desperate to make up for their terrible effort in their last outing and I can't see them slipping against the inconsistent Knicks. Take Toronto to win this one by double digits with confidence.
