The Charlotte Hornets hit the road to take on the Chicago Bulls at the United Center.
The Hornets have won four of their last five and will be going for a third straight after beating the Knicks 95-93 on Wednesday. Nicolas Batum led the way with 24 points on 10 of 18 shooting while Jeremy Lin added 17 points as the Hornets escaped with a narrow win after surviving a three at the buzzer which was later ruled to be too late.

Meanwhile, the Bulls have won three of their last five and are coming off a 111-88 rout of the 76ers. Nikola Mirotic led the scoring with 20 points, Doug McDermott added 18 points while Pau Gasol added 16 points as the Bulls led early against the 76ers before pulling away in the second half. With the win, Chicago improves to 5-3 on the season and 2-2 on the road.
Looking at ATS trends, the Hornets are 10-4 ATS in their last 14 against teams above .600 and 2-7 ATS in their last nine games following a win, while the Bulls are 1-5 ATS in their six home games and 1-4 ATS in their last five games following a win.
Head to head, the Hornets hold the advantage of a 5-2 ATS record in the last seven meetings with Chicago and the under is 10-4-1 in the last 15 meetings overall.
The Bulls' latest win may have loosened them up a bit and I like them to win this game at home, but I think the Hornets deserve a little more credit for how they've been playing lately so I'm taking them with the points.
