The Houston Rockets need a win after a rocky 4-6 start to the season. The Houston Rockets are averaging 101.4 points on 42.3 percent shooting and allowing 108.3 points on 47 percent shooting. James Harden is averaging 28.4 points and 6.1 assists while Dwight Howard is averaging 16.7 points and 12.7 rebounds. Ty Lawson is dishing 5.7 assists and Clint Capela is grabbing 6.1 rebounds. The Houston Rockets are shooting just 28.4 percent from downtown and are getting just 24.3 points from their bench. The Rockets continue to play sloppy basketball, and it doesn’t help that their defense has been poor at best. The Rockets need to figure something out fast. Patrick Beverley and Sam Dekker are questionable.
The Celtics are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 road games and 35-15-1 ATS in their last 51 games playing on 0 days rest. The Rockets are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 vs. Eastern Conference and 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games overall. The Celtics are 0-4 ATS in the last 4 meetings in Houston.
The Rockets don't deserve chalk against an above-average team that plays high level defense. Houston looks nothing like the team that made the playoffs last season and Boston simply has been a rock all year. I'll take the points here.
