The Charlotte Hornets travel to Madison Square Garden to battle the New York Knicks tonight.
The Hornets go for their fourth win and five games tonight after making light work of the Trailblazers in a 106-94 win on Sunday. Nicolas Batum exploded for a season-high 33 points on 11 of 19 shooting while Al Jefferson dominated the paint with 29 points on 13 of 17 shooting as the Hornets poured in 71 points in the first half before cruising in the second half. Batum has really been the hot hand for the Hornets lately, averaging 17.7 points on the season but 28.3 points in his last three outings.

Meanwhile, the Knicks were able to avoid a third straight loss on Sunday with a hard-fought 95-87 win over the Pelicans. Carmelo Anthony led the team with 29 points and 13 rebonds, Langston Galloway added 15 points off the bench and Kristaps Porzingis had 10 points as the Knicks survived a 36-point night from New Orleans' Anthony Davis. The Knicks have been seriously lacking a second go-to scorer to pair up with Anthony, but Arron Afflalo has looked good in his three games with his new team, despite scoring just four points in Sunday's win.
In ATS trends, the Hornets are 4-1 ATS in their last five road games and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games following a win, while the Knicks are 4-0 ATS in their last four games overall and 2-5 ATS in their last seven home games.
Head to head, the Hornets are 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings in New York and the road team is 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings overall.
The Knicks and the Hornets met just last Wednesday and it was the Hornets who came out on top by 95-93 thanks to a layup from Cody Zeller who stole the game at the last second. This meeting could be just as close and I'm thinking the improving Hornets continue their nice form and take this one again.
