The New Orleans Pelicans hit the road to take on the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight.
The Pelicans' struggles continued last night as they lost to the Nuggets by 115-98 for their fourth straight loss. With Anthony Davis leaving the game after just six minutes, the Pelicans were desperately looking for answers and they got that through Ryan Anderson who scored 24 points and Eric Gordon who added 19 points, but despite hanging with the Nuggets for the majority of the game, the Pelicans just ran out of gas in a 64-45 second half rout. Davis injured his shoulder last night and didn't return, which leaves his status for tonight's game against the Thunder under an injury cloud.

Meanwhile, the Thunder will be looking to avoid a third straight loss after falling to the Grizzlies by 122-114 in a shootout on Monday. Russell Westbrook exploded for 40 points and 14 assists while shooting 13 of 19 from the field while Serge Ibaka chipped in with 18 points, but the Grizzlies would take over in a wild 43-34 fourth quarter. Once again, the Thunder were without Kevin Durant who missed his third straight game and is expected to sit out the rest of the week.
In ATS trends, the Pelicans are 1-5 ATS in their last six road games and 1-9 ATS in their last 10 games following a loss, while the Thunder are 5-2 ATS in their last seven home games and 2-7 ATS in their last nine games following a loss.
Head to head, the Pelicans are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings overall and 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings in Oklahoma City.
Both teams come into this game shorthanded, but the Thunder still have Westbrook and he'll be eager to avoid a third straight loss, especially at home in front of that raucus crowd.
