The Denver Nuggets invade the AT&T Center to take on the San Antonio Spurs tonight.
The Spurs will be looking to build on their five-game win streak tonight after beating the Trailblazers by 93-80 on Monday. Kawhi Leonard led the team with 19 points, Manu Ginobili added 17 points and Danny Green added 12 points as the Spurs improved to a perfect 4-0 at home. It wasn't quite the most impressive of performances as the Spurs scored just 36 points in the first half and shot just 42.7 percent from the field which is way below their best, but they continue to get the job done as they work the new pieces like LaMarcus Aldridge and David West into the rotation.

Meanwhile, the Nuggets have won four of their last five and are coming off a dominant 115-98 over the Pelicans who lost their best player in Anthony Davis midway through the first quarter. Danilo Gallinari made five 3-pointers on his way to 32 points, eight rebounds and eight assists while Gary Harris and Jameer Nelson chipped in with 16 points as the Nuggets blew away the Pelicans with a 64-45 second half rout. With the win, Denver improves to 6-5 on the season and 3-3 on the road.
In ATS trends, the Nuggets are 6-2 ATS in their last eight road games and 1-4 ATS in their last five games following a win, while the Spurs are 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall and 11-5 ATS in their last 16 games following a win of more than 10 points.
Head to head, the Nuggets are 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings overall but a dominant 10-3 ATS in the last 13 meetings in San Antonio.
The Spurs will surely win this game and stay undefeated at home, but this feels like too many points to be giving a Nuggets team coming off a blowout win. I'll take the Nuggets with the hefty points start against a Spurs team yet to hit their stride.
