The Memphis Grizzlies invade the AT&T Center to battle the San Antonio Spurs tonight.
The Grizzlies will be eager to build on their four-game win streak tonight after defeating the Rockets in a 96-84 win last night. Mike Conley continued his hot run with a game-high 26 points on 10 of 17 shooting while Marc Gasol compiled his first triple double of the season, scoring 16 points with 11 rebounds and 11 assists as the Grizzlies suffocated the Rockets and held them to 37.8 percent shooting and their lowest scoring game of the season. With the win, Memphis improves to 7-6 on the season and 4-2 at home.

Meanwhile, the Spurs were cruising through the season with six straight wins going into New Orleans last night, but the shorthanded Pelicans dealt them a 104-90 upset loss. Kawhi Leonard had a nice game of 22 points while LaMarcus Aldridge added 20 points and 11 rebounds, but just about every other Spurs player was disappointing. As a team, the Spurs rank second in the league in field goal percentage but they shot just 40.5 percent last night against a Pelicans team that ranks near the bottom in points allowed this season. The Spurs played so uncharacteristically bad that Tim Duncan actually finished the game without grabbing a single rebound, which makes it the first time in his entire career he's failed to do so.
In ATS trends, the Grizzlies are 4-0 ATS in their last four games playing on zero days rest and 5-2 ATS in their last seven against the NBA Southwest, while the Spurs are 6-0 ATS in their last six games playing on zero days rest and 12-5 ATS in their last seven home games.
Head to head, the Grizzlies are 4-10 ATS in the last 14 meetings and 2-5 ATS in the last seven meetings in San Antonio.
I just know the Spurs will bounce back after last night's disappointing loss, but I can't be too confident about them covering the spread against this Grizzlies team hitting form. I'll take the Spurs to win, but the Grizzlies with the points as this one will go down to the wire.
