NBA Player Updates 11/24: The Latest News from Around the League, Tonight's TV Schedule and More

We’ve got six games in the NBA tonight as the league gears up for a heavy evening tomorrow. While we’re waiting on tip-offs, let’s check out some of the notable players and situations out there in the news.
Cavaliers-Magic: Kevin Love scored a season-high 34 points to help the Cavaliers stay undefeated at home this year with a 117-103 win over the Magic.
More significantly, LeBron James posted 15 points and 13 assists, which put him alongside Oscar Robertson as the only two players to rank in the top 25 in career points and assists. Robertson put up 26,710 points and 9,887 assists in his storied career.
J.R. Smith also scored a season-high in this one, putting up 26.

Heat-Knicks: During the second quarter last night in Miami, the Heat outscored the Knicks 26-11. That was part of a 36-8 run, helping the team cruise to an eventual 95-78 victory.
Goran Dragic put up a near double-double with 13 points and nine assists. Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh each had 16.
Carmelo Anthony had 21 points and Kristaps Porzingis hit just 7-of-18 shots. New York has lost 13 of their last 16 in Miami.
Sixers-Timberwolves: One of these days, the Sixers will get a win. It wasn’t yesterday, however, as they fell 100-95 to Minnesota.
Andrew Wiggins put up 32 points overall, with 17 coming in the fourth quarter. Kevin Garnett would add eight points and 10 rebounds.
The Timberwolves are now 6-8 on the season, while Philly is still winless at 0-15.
Jahlil Okafor also had a strong game, doubling up on 25 points and 12 rebounds.
Thunder-Jazz: Kevin Durant played in his first game since November 10 (hamstring), but looked like he hadn’t missed any time at all. He put up 27 points and six rebounds, helping the Thunder to a big 111-89 win over the Jazz.
Russell Westbrook had a near triple-double on 20 points, seven rebounds and nine assists.
The Thunder outscored the Jazz 40-26 in the second quarter and are now 9-6 on the year. Utah falls to 6-7.
