The surging Indiana Pacers travel to the Verizon Center to take on the Washington Wizards tonight.
The Pacers have won five of their last six games and will be feeling pretty good following their 123-86 win over the Bucks on Saturday. CJ Miles led the team in scoring with 21 points while Paul George and Jordan Hill scored 20 points each as the Pacers dominated the Bucks by 68-35 in the second half to cruise to their biggest win of the season. Monta Ellis has yet to find his groove in the offense, averaging just 12.7 points on the season, well below his career average of 19.2 points, but George has been absolutely red hot with season averages of 24.8 points and 4.8 assists. Indiana is now 8-5 on the season and 5-2 at home where they've won their last five. In injury news, George Hill had a chest infection last week, forcing him to miss two games, but he is listed as probable to play tonight which would push Ellis back to shooting guard.

Meanwhile, the Wizards will be going for a season-high fourth straight win after sneaking past the Pistons in a 97-95 thriller on Saturday. Nene Hilario led the team in scoring with an efficient 18 points on nine of 10 shooting while Otto Porter Jr. chipped in with 17 points as the Wizards escaped with the win as the Pistons' Marcus Morris missed the potential game-winning three. John Wall and Bradley Beal combined for just 15 points, but the Wizards' reserves came up big, outscoring the Pistons' bench by 51-15. With the win, Washington improves to 6-4 on the season and 3-2 on the road.
In ATS trends, the Pacers are 6-0 ATS in their last six games against a team with a winning record and 9-1 ATS in their last 10 games overall, while the Wizards are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games playing on 2 days rest, but 1-6 ATS in their last seven games against a tema with a winning record.
Head to head, the Pacers are 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings in Washington and the road team is 10-1 ATS in the last 11 meetings.
Both teams are coming into this game in similar form, but I have to give the edge to the Pacers who are really starting to heat up with George in such great form. The Wizards are listed as slight favorites in this one, so I'm predicting a minor upset tonight.
