NBA Player Updates 11/26: The Latest News from Around the League, Tomorrow's TV Schedule and More
November 26, 2015
There aren’t any NBA games today, as the league will step aside for the annual Thanksgiving football schedule. We’ve got a dozen games to look forward to tomorrow, however, in a stuffed evening slate. Let’s check out some of the headlines out there and see who everyone’s talking about right now.
Knicks-Magic: Down in Orlando, the Knicks continued their first-half woes with a weak early effort in an eventual 100-91 defeat by the Magic. Victor Oladipo posted 24 points here, and the team held New York to just 29.3 shooting in the first half.
Nik Vucevic had 22 points with 12 rebounds, and Tobias Harris also doubled up on 17 points and 10 rebounds. Elfrid Payton got in on the action with 12 points and 11 assists.

Sixers-Celtics: Even when the Sixers are up big, they find a way to lose this year. They’re now 0-16 after an 84-80 loss to the Celtics last night, during which they led by five points late in the game.
Philly has now tied the longest losing streak in major US professional sports, an 0-26 overall run. Two more losses and they tie the Nets’ 0-18 record for losses to open a season.
Isaiah Thomas was the leading scorer for the Celtics, posting 30 points in the come-from-behind win.
Raptors-Cavaliers: The Raptors were back in Toronto last night, and it looked like they were happy to be home. Kyle Lowry put up 27 points, with DeMar DeRozan logging 20 of his own in a 103-99 victory over the Cavaliers. The Raptors were coming off a five-game road trip.
On the other side, the Cavs’ LeBron James had 24 points with eight assists and six rebounds. Kevin Love managed 21 points and 13 rebounds.
Nets-Thunder: Kevin Durant put up 30 points last night against the Nets, with 17 of those coming in the game’s last 20 minutes. His efforts powered OKC to a 110-99 win at home.
Russell Westbrook helped out on 27 points and 13 assists, while Brook Lopez scored 26 on the other side. The Nets had won three straight in Oklahoma City coming into this one.
