The Atlanta Hawks travel to the FedEx Forum to battle the Memphis Grizzlies tonight.
The Hawks have lost five of their last seven games and will be looking to bounce back from a tough 99-95 loss at Minnesota on Wednesday. Paul Millsap and Jeff Teague led the team with 22 points each, Al Horford added 12 points while Kyle Korver had 11, but the Hawks shot just 37.8 percent from the field and 25 percent from the 3-point line. It's fair to say that the Hawks haven'y quite found the consistency they showed last season when they finished atop the Eastern Conference standings and with this loss, Atlanta drops to 10-7 on the season overall and 4-4 on the road where they've lost four straight.

Meanwhile, the Grizzlies have won six of their last seven and will be going for a third straight win after beating the Rockets 102-93 on Wednesday. Jeff Green continued his strong form with a team-high 20 points, Mike Conley added 19 points and Courtney Lee had 17 off the bench as the Grizzlies shot a healthy 48.8 percent from the field. The 3-point shooting remains a problem as the Grizzlies connected on just three of 16 attempts, but defensively they were at their usual best, holding the Rockets to just 40 points in the second half and just 16 points in the fourth quarter. With the win, Memphis improves to 9-7 on the season and 4-5 on the road.
In ATS trends, the Hawks are 2-7 ATS in their last nine games overall and 0-4 ATS in their last four road games, while the Grizzlies are 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall and 4-13 ATS in their last 17 Friday night games.
Head to head, the home team is 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings and the under is 5-2 in the last seven meetings.
Last season I would have been all over the Hawks to win this one, but they're in a bit of a slump while the Grizzlies have quietly become one of the hottest teams in the league.
