The Toronto Raptors invade the Verizon Center to battle the Washington Wizards tonight.
The Raptors have really been firing on all cylinders over the last week or so, beating both the Clippers and the Lakers before upsetting the Cavaliers in a 103-99 win on Wednesday. Kyle Lowry led the way with 27 points on 11 of 17 shooting, DeMar DeRozan added 20 points while Luis Scola had 15 as the Raptors shot a healthy 50.6 percent from the field to take down the red-hot Cavaliers. It was a tight contest for most of the game until the Raptors held the Cavs to seven of 20 in the fourth quarter to come out with the win and improve to 10-6 on the season and 4-1 at home.

Meanwhile, the Wizards will be looking to avoid a season-high fourth straight loss after getting blown out by the Celtics in a 111-78 defeat last night. Jared Dudley scored 19 points off the bench, Bradley Beal added 16 points while John Wall had 10 points but this game was over before it really began as the Wizards fell behind 54-36 going into halftime and it only got worse from then onwards. As a team, the Wizards shot a season-low 32.1 percent from the field while committing 22 turnovers and the Celtics just showed no mercy. With the loss, Washington drops to 6-7 on the season and 3-4 on the road.
In ATS trends, the Raptors are 4-0 ATS in their last four road games and 5-0 ATS in their last five games overall, while the Wizards are 2-10 ATS in their last 12 games playing on zero days rest and 1-8 ATS in their last nine games against a team with a winning record.
Head to head, the Raptors are 0-5 ATS in the last five meetings overall and the road team is 7-3 ATS in the last 10 meetings.
This one seems pretty straight forward to me as the Raptors are coming off a couple of impressive wins and should be too much for a struggling Wizards team playing on the second night of a back to back set.
