The Indiana Pacers travel to Staples Center to take on the Los Angeles Lakers tonight.
The Pacers have quietly become one of the hottest teams in the league with 10 wins in their last 12 games and they'll be looking for a fifth straight win after beating the Bulls by 104-92 on Friday. Paul George remained one of the hottest players in the league, pouring in 33 points, CJ Miles added 16 points while Ian Mahinmi had 15 points as the Pacers jumped out to an early lead against the Bulls before fighting off a late rally. George has been on an absolute tear this month with averages of 28.8 points, 8.6 rebounds and 4.6 assists.

Meanwhile, the Lakers will be eager to snap a five-game skid after losing to the Trailblazers in a 108-96 rout last night. Kobe Bryant had a nice game of 21 points on seven of 20 shooting, Jordan Clarkson added 19 points while Julius Randle and D'Angelo Russell added 16 points each, but the Lakers were always running uphill after falling behind by double digits early in the first quarter. There was just no stopping the backcourt duo of Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum who burned them for a combined 57 points. With the loss, LA drops to 2-13 on the season and 1-8 on the road.
In ATS trends, the Pacers are 6-0 ATS in their last six road games and 11-1 ATS in their last 12 games overall, while the Lakers are 7-18-1 ATS in their last 26 games overall and 1-7 ATS in their last eight home games.
Head to head, the Pacers are 3-0-1 ATS in the last four meetings overall and 4-0-1 ATS in the last five meetings in Los Angeles.
The Pacers have absolutely been on fire lately and I can't see them slowing down at all, at least not against this Lakers team.
