NBA Player Updates 12/3: The Latest News from Around the League, Tonight's TV Schedule and More
December 3, 2015
We’ve got half a dozen NBA games coming up tonight, which should make for a nice evening of basketball-watching. For now, let’s take our daily look at the headlines, key players and stats out there to see what’s happening around the league.
Warriors-Hornets: How far can this Warriors team take their winning streak? That’s been the big question in the NBA this year. The team bagged another road win last night in Charlotte, beating the Hornets 116-99 to get to 20-0 on the year.
Stephen Curry put up 40 points in three quarters of work, hitting 14 of 18 from the field with 8-of-11 from 3-point range. He scored 28 points in the third quarter alone.
On the other side, Nicolas Batum led the Hornets with 17 points and eight boards.

Lakers-Wizards: Kobe Bryant scored a season-high 31 points last night against the Wizards, including 12 in the fourth quarter of a 108-104 win in Washington.
John Wall put up 34 points and 11 assists for the Wizards, who couldn’t overcome L.A. in Kobe’s farewell tour.
Julius Randle posted 15 points and 19 rebounds (a career-high) for the lakers, who are 3-15 and snap a seven-game losing skid.
Knicks-Sixers: This wasn’t to be the rookie matchup we thought it would at the beginning of the season. The Sixers’ Jahlil Okafor sat out with a suspension, but the Knicks’ Kristaps Porzingis had a great night with 17 points and 10 rebounds to help New York to a 99-87 win.
It was Porzingis’ ninth double-double of the year, which is sixth in the NBA and No. 1 among rookies.
The win breaks a four-game losing streak for the Knicks. They got 13 points from Carmelo Anthony here on a rough shooting night at 5-of-16.
Bulls-Nuggets: Pau Gasol had another big night for the Bulls, helping them to a 99-90 victory last night at United Center.
Gasol put up 26 points and 19 rebounds, shooting 12-of-19 from the field. It was his fifth straight double-double.
The Nuggets were in position to win leading 72-68 heading into the fourth. They held the Bulls to just 17 points in the third.
