The Line: Brooklyn Nets +4 -- Over/Under: 206.5 See the Latest Odds

The Houston Rockets travel to Barclays Center to battle the Brooklyn Nets tonight.

The Rockets have won five of their last six and will look to build on a three-game win streak after taking down the Kings in a 120-113 win on Saturday. James Harden led all scorers with 31 points and nine assists, Dwight Howard added 22 points and 18 rebounds while Terrence Jones chipped in with 16 points as the Rockets shot 46.2 percent from the field and 16 of 34 from the 3-point arc. Despite a hot start, the Rockets actually found themselves down 103-101 late in the fourth quarter but the combination of Harden and Howard got the team over the line to lift the Rockets to 10-11 on the season and 6-7 at home.

Meanwhile, the Nets have lost four of their last six and are looking to avoid a third straight loss after losing to the Warriors by 114-98 on Sunday. Thaddeus Young had a great game of 25 points and 14 rebounds, Brook Lopez added 18 points while Shane Larkin provided the spark off the bench with 13 points and six assists but the Nets just couldn't snag the win despite coming all the way back from 17 points to lead by five late in the third quarter. The final score doesn't do justice to how well the Nets played for most of the game, but there was just no stopping the Warriors in the fourth quarter once they got hot. Brooklyn is now 5-15 on the season and 4-4 at home.

In ATS trends, the Rockets are 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall and 1-6 ATS in their last seven games against a team below .400, while teh Nets are 4-1 ATS in their last five home games and 10-3 ATS in their last 13 games overall.

Head to head, the Rockets are 9-3 ATS in the last 12 meetings in Brooklyn but the favorite is 5-2 ATS in the last seven overall.

The Nets really did look like they were going to pull off the upset of the season in their last outing but they just didn't have the answer in the fourth quarter and I'm expecting more of the same tonight. This game should be a close one from start to finish, but I expect the Rockets to pull away late on the strength of Harden's ability to close out the game.
